Flyte - Film - ADR (Post-Sync, Dubbing)
About
Automated dialogue replacement(ADR) is the process of re-recording the
original dialogue after filming for the purpose of obtaining a cleaner, more intelligible
dialogue track (also known as looping or a looping session). In the UK it is called
post-synchronisation or post-sync.
In conventional film production, a production sound mixer or the actually camera
records dialogue during filming. Accompanying noise from the set, equipment,
traffic, wind, and the overall ambience of the surrounding environment often results
in unusable production sound. ADR is also used to change the original lines
recorded on set in order to clarify context, or to improve the actor's diction and
timing.
All this can be done at FLYTE Studios. With our purpose built vocal room and our
37 inch screen mounted on the wall so you can see the video in question.
Everything sounds and looks better at FLYTE Creative Media & Studios.
